No, but the screen does need a reasonably modern browser — roughly 2022 onwards. A Fire TV stick is the reliable answer and the one we support directly: plug it into a spare HDMI port and it opens your board by itself. Android TV and Google TV work, and so does any computer on an HDMI cable. Older built-in smart-TV browsers are often too far behind to run the display.
Not directly. tvOS has no web browser we can run the display in, and the third-party browser apps sold for it are not capable enough. If Apple TV is what is plugged into your television, add an inexpensive Fire TV stick on another HDMI input — that is the setup we build and test against.
